What’s in Store at The Twisted Purl (1/8/19)

As The Twisted Purl rolls into 2019 we are excited about all the opportunities for us and for you. If you haven’t read about our big news yet go check out the blog post that explains it all.

But we don’t want you to miss the super fun things still going on this week and through the rest of the month.

Classes

Join us for some of our classes!
Wednesday, January 9 – 12pm Crochet 2, 4pm Knit 1
Thursday, January 10 – 12pm Knit 2, 4pm Crochet 3
Saturday, January 12 – 12pm Crochet 1

Yarn

All yarn is 25% in the store! Please help us whittle down our inventory so we don’t have to move it all to the new location.

Gift Cards

If you are wanting to use your gift cards on luscious fiber goodness stop by before February 2. Gift cards will still be good on our future classes and events and such at the new location.

Loyalty Reward Star

Come in and claim your Loyalty Reward Stars by February 2. We will not be continuing this program once we are in our new location.

Lending Library

Please come and take what you would like from our lending library of knitting and crochet publications. It is free for the pilfering and we don’t want anything in return. Seriously, don’t bring any books in. Seriously.

Social Stitch Night

Friday, January 18 will be our last Social Stitch at our current location. We will not have a Social Stitch Night during February. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on future dates.

Saturday, February 2, 2019

Saturday, February 2 will be our last day at our Prince Street Location. Come in for one last hurrah before we move. Seriously we don’t want to move all this inventory so help a fellow yarn hoarder out. Seriously.

Join us for our weekly Crochet Day at The Twisted Purl on Fridays 12pm – 3pm.

Sometimes we are working on specific projects and other times we bring what ever work in progress we have. Stop by and get support and community for your crochet projects from like minded “hookers” like yourself 🙂

Open Appointments One on One Lessons

Can’t figure out that stitch? What on earth does this pattern mean? What the heck did I do!? These are questions we answer every day at The Twisted Purl. We LOVE our customers and really do love being able to be here to help you through that sticky situation. After all a happy stitcher makes the world a much better place!
Back during Austin’s football days, his coach would yell out “HELP SESSIONS!” whenever a kid would need more help getting through something. Most of the time this meant way more sit ups, push ups, and tons of running. Football Help Sessions weren’t necessarily a good thing, but Stitching Help Sessions can be a blast!

We have a shop policy where if the yarn is purchased from here, and the problem is something we can easily walk you through, bring it! We’ll get you back on track. BUT if we need to give you extensive help (more than 15 minutes or so…) then you might need a Help Session! This is the beauty of having a local yarn shop in your neighborhood. We can’t wait to get you back on your way to happy stitching.

Any day we are open, at The Twisted Purl, we have open appointments available for one on one lessons. Private Help Sessions!!! We have knowledgeable folks in the shop to assist you with any issue that might arise for both knitting, crochet, or spinning. The cost is $10 for an hour. Stop on in if you need help. Reserve your one on one time.
